Cirtronics – AAON WSHP

Replacement Ready Water-Source Heat Pumps

Cirtronics Corporation is an electronics and circuit board manufacturer that offers services for all stages of the product lifecycle. The company was founded in 1979 and prides itself on being employee owned and specializing in quality-sensitive and complex electro-mechanical assemblies, box builds, and electronics. The Cirtronics headquarters and manufacturing facility is located in Milford, New Hampshire. In 2016, Cirtronics decided it was time to replace the aging water-source heat pumps that serviced their more than 175,000 square feet manufacturing facility. The water-source heat pumps were over three decades old.

Jim Hennessy with Precision Temperature Control, Inc. stated, “The building needed replacement units that could easily be installed into the current water-source heat pump system setup at the facility. The units needed to be able to tie into the current ductwork, electrical, and water systems. “

Why AAON?

Tom Campbell, a Sales Representative with Trumbull Campbell Associates, had just the right replacement units for the job. “I knew AAON had the replacement ready water-source heat pump solutions this job demanded.” AAON WH Series Water-Source Heat Pumps come in a variety of sizes, making them a perfect replacement and upgrade to legacy water-source heat pumps. The size availability was the leading reason for AAON being specified as the replacement unit for the Cirtronics facility. The impressive industry leading features of the AAON WH Series were also a welcomed addition. “The bottom service access is an impressive feature and will reduce maintenance time. We also couldn’t believe how light the AAON units were during unloading.” Mr. Hennessey commented.

Beyond Installation

Overall the installation of the AAON WH Series units at the Cirtronics manufacturing facility went smoothly and the units have been running without issue since March 2017. Cirtronics is looking into ordering more AAON water-source heat pumps for continuing replacement of units.
